I photographed this absolutely gorgeous St Lucia Amazon at ACTP Germany; another threatened species that the ACTP team is committed to doing everything possible to ensure that a viable population continues to exist into the future. They are an incredible member of the Amazon parrot family; among the largest of the group. I have been fortunate enough to have observed them both in captivity and the wild.
