There is no question about it, Nicobar Pigeons are not only very unique, but also almost look as if they have come straight from the prehistoric period! They are an eye catching bird, and especially so when the sunlight hits their iridescent plumage. They are very rare in Australian Aviculture, however a small number of very dedicated breeders are working with them here, doing everything that they can to safeguard their future in our aviaries.
